Now, as part of an exciting evolution of our creative team, we’re looking for a talented Creative (Photographer / Videographer) to join Sushi. This role is central to how we bring brands to life visually - capturing standout content, shaping creative direction, and pushing the quality of our output forward across all platforms. This is a hands-on role focused on photography and videography, with responsibility for capturing high-quality content across studio shoots, recipes, events, and on-location filming.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Content Production (Photography & Videography).
Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality photo and video content for social platforms across a range of formats and environments. This includes:
- In-studio product and lifestyle photography
- Recipe-based content creation (both photo and video)
- Short-form social video (Reels, TikTok, etc.)
- Event photography and videography
- On-location shoots at client sites and external venues
You should be comfortable adapting your approach depending on the brief - from more polished studio setups to fast-paced, reactive content capture. You’ll often be leading shoots independently, so confidence in setting up, directing, and capturing content is essential.
Content Creation & Post-Production.
Edit and refine content to a high standard, ensuring it is platform-appropriate and aligned with each brand’s visual identity. Depending on your skillset, this may also include elements of motion, design, or creative post-production.
Creative Strategy.
Content should not only look great but perform effectively. You’ll work closely with the wider team to ensure all output aligns with each client’s strategy, tone of voice, and brand aesthetic.
Time Management.
Social media is a fast-paced environment. You’ll be responsible for managing your time efficiently across multiple projects, ensuring content is delivered to a high standard and within agreed timelines.
Collaboration.
Work closely with the wider creative and social media teams to develop ideas, plan shoots, and evolve content strategies. We pride ourselves on our creative culture, and all team members are encouraged to contribute ideas and push work forward.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
Content creation experience (Photography & Videography).
2-4+ years of experience creating social-first content, either in-house with a brand or within an agency environment.
Working with food & drink content.
As many of our clients sit within the Food & Drink space, you should be comfortable working hands-on with food during shoots. This may include basic food preparation, styling, and capturing recipe-based content, both independently and as part of a wider shoot team.
Passion for social media.
You must show a strong understanding of our core services and have a real fascination for brands and how they use social media to grow their business.
Flexible creative contribution.
While this role is focused on photography and videography, you’ll also be expected to contribute to the wider creative output of the team where needed. This may include supporting areas such as graphic design and animation, depending on your skillset and the needs of the team.
Organised and diligent.
Regular content deadlines must be met and so you should be able to manage your time efficiently, comfortably juggling multiple tasks throughout the day.
Hands-on and willing to adapt.
Comfortable working across both studio and on-location environments, including events and fast-paced content shoots.
Personable and confident.
You will need to communicate clearly with the rest of the team and contribute new and exciting ideas during creative sessions.

IMPORTANT: Core Skill Requirements
This role requires strong proficiency in both Photography and Videography. Applications without clear demonstrated experience in both will not be considered.
